Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) run by Ida Sealey-Adams is a government corporation established under section 46 of the Public Corporations Act, Cap 19:05 of the Laws of Guyana which works assiduously to promote the cultivation, processing and export of Guyana’s non-traditional agricultural crops to regional and extra-regional markets. However, in 1985 the mandate of the Corporation changed, becoming entirely service oriented with the exception of the Guyana Shop where locally manufactured products are sold.

Our sustainability lies in attending and hosting local, regional and international trade fairs and exhibits. In addition, undertaking the aggressive promotion of the use of Guyanese products.
