Next Steps for ITM Programme

Eight companies from Barbados, Haiti, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago will be participating in the 4th module of the International Trade Management (ITM) Export Marketing Programme from October 28-30 in France and November 2-5 in Sweden.

In this module participants will undertake study visits to potential customers and will also be exposed to cultural training on how to do business in France and Sweden.  The eight participants have successfully completed modules 1-3 of the IRM Export Marketing Programme, an initiative of Caribbean Export in partnership with ITM Worldwide.

The ITM Worldwide concept combines recruitment, training, individual export coaching, networking and business meetings, created to inspire small and medium-sized enterprises to grow internationally. ITM gives small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the export sector access to high-class international training built on standardized modules, which can therefore be designed for export managers, trainees and export assistants according to the needs of each profession. The programme also provides participants with access to lifelong learning, career and business contacts through a virtual learning vocational network. , and are currently seeking funding for their participation.
