David is currently the Senior Advisor for Market Intelligence (MI) at Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export). He is responsible for leading out the design and implementation of a market intelligence platform, tools and programs to achieve market penetration in partner countries and enhance economic development by the regional private sector. As head of MI he also supports policy development, strategic planning and coordination for Caribbean Export’s overall export development and the competitive environment for trade. David was previously a business and trade consultant and managing partner in Launchpad Consulting located in Belize, Central America. His areas of expertise include international trade and policy, export promotion and development, competitive strategy and planning, and project management. He currently holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade Law from Northumbria University and an M.A. in International Relations with Distinction from the University of Kent, Canterbury where he attended as a Chevening scholar. He has also has completed a number of diploma programs including Sales Management at Columbia University (in New York), Strategic Statecraft Negotiations (United Nations University), and WTO Trade Policy (World Trade Organization).
