Caribbean Export would like to invite interested Haitian firms to submit applications to participate in a TRADE MISSION to Oranjestad, Aruba from November 15 to November 18, 2016.
Aruba is reported to have had the fastest growth in tourism in the Caribbean in 2015, with a growth rate of 15%. Aruba has 1.5 million tourists visiting each year and with no import restrictions, with the exception of fresh chicken eggs, the Aruban market represents great potential for Haitian companies.
In collaboration with the Aruba Chamber of Commerce, during the mission delegation members will have the opportunity to get valuable insights in business opportunities, to better understand the possibilities that Aruban economy can offer and to know the Aruban way of doing business.
Caribbean Export will sponsor firm’s representatives from Haiti under the Haiti-DR Bi-National Programme funded by the European Union under the 10th EDF from the following sectors to participate in the first edition of Aruba Trade Mission:
- Liquor and liqueur
- Craft product
- Agro and agro processed products
Sponsorship will include;
- Airfare round trip from Haiti to Aruba
- Matchmaking meetings with the major buyers in Aruba
Participants are expected to cover all additional expenses including, accommodations, shipping of samples, meals and ground transport to and from Fair grounds.
