Expression of Interest – Participate in the 2017 edition of the ANUGA Food Fair

Caribbean Export would like to invite interested CARIFORUM firms to submit applications to participate in the 2017 edition of the ANUGA Food Fair in Cologne, Germany from October 7-11, 2017.

The ANUGA Food Fair is Europe’s largest and most important food and beverage fair for exhibitors who wish to showcase their products to new markets and target groups. ANUGA´s trade fair concept is unique as it brings supply and demand together in 10 specialized trade shows under one roof. It helps sharpen each sector´s profile and generates valuable synergies at the same time. In 2015 the fair is expected to host over 155,000 trade visitors from 187 countries for each of 6,000 plus exhibitors. Please visit www.anuga.com for more information about the fair.

In 2013 and 2015, Caribbean Export assisted a total of 23 companies from the region to attend and exhibit at the show. As a result of their participation, many of the participating firms were able to secure strong business contacts which have since led to actual orders.

Given the tremendous successes achieved in 2013 and 2015, Caribbean Export will provide assistance for representatives from CARIFORUM firms operating in the following sub-sectors sectors to participate in the 2017 edition:

  • Speciality Foods
  • Organic Foods
  • Drinks

  • Booth space at the show within the Caribbean Kitchen pavilion
  • Booth design and décor
  • Return airfare to Cologne, Germany via the most direct and economical route for one representative of each participating company
  • Branded materials to assist in your exhibition

Participants are responsible for their accommodation, meals, ground transportation and other associated expenses.

The application process will be completed over two (2) phases

Phase 1: Interested firms must submit an online Application Form no later than May 1st, 2017 at 4:30pm Barbados Time.

Phase 2: Short-listed applicants must complete Caribbean Export’s Diagnostic Tool Assessment. This online tool assesses firms on four (4) pillars (Management, Production, Finance and Marketing) to determine their current capacity to take advantage of opportunities that may be presented at the trade show.

Participants will be notified of acceptance no later than June 1st 2017.
