Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) is pleased to announce the forthcoming “2nd Regional Trade Information Training Programme” in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, February 25, 2013 – March 8, 2013.
This highly specialised event represents a unique opportunity for managers and officers of business information services in trade support institutions to access the most up-to-date methods, tools and trends for boosting organisational skills, and to collect, process, and exploit information on international markets.
Participants should be technical staff members of Trade Promotion Organisations and or Business Support Organisations whose daily activities include the delivery of trade information services to clients and the collection, processing and analysis of market intelligence data. It is also expected that your organisation will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Caribbean Export for the provision of Trade Information Services to enhance access to the Agency’s Market Intelligence Portal.
Caribbean Export will cover the costs for the return flight ticket (economy class) to the Dominican Republic and accommodation. Transfers to and from the Las Américas International Airport will be provided. Breakfast is included in your room rate and lunch and breaks will be provided at the training, therefore a small stipend will be issued to cover dinner and other incidental costs.

Please note that one application will be considered per organisation as limited places are available. Priority will be given to early applicants and organisations that were not afforded the opportunity to participate in the first training session. Selected applicants will receive written approval and the programme’s administrative and logistical arrangements by February 8, 2013.
